Global Trainee in Information System

Would you like to join an organization characterized by innovation, development opportunities and world leading technology? Then you should seize the opportunity to join our trainee-program. As one of our new talents in Västerås, you will have permanent employment with contractual salary from day one.

We believe in on-the-job experience and during three phases of internship, you will get the opportunity to acquire knowledge about different areas of interest. During the first seven months you – and your fellow Swedish trainees – will be based in Västerås. Here you will learn about and gain experience from both SAP and IS Architecture as well as how the IS operations work at our divisions. In addition you and the Swedish trainee group will visit our business units as well as our clients. The second assignment will take you to the global headquarters office in Zurich, Switzerland. You will be able to choose your assignment from a variety of options such as supporting IS Service delivery, IS Architecture or IS Sourcing. This second assignment will give you additional insight into the area of Strategic IS. Your third and final assignment of the program will be an international assignment.

You are expected to be actively involved in the organization of this assignment with a good choice in particular responsibilities and/or destinations. The final assignment may last up to 12 months and will be a more challenging project assignment. After successful completion of the trainee program you will have excellent insight in ABB and our products and will be offered a permanent position in one of our local units in Sweden.

Requirements:
You are recently graduated and have a Master's in Engineering or Computer Science with good grades in the fields of Information System or Computer Science. Knowledge and experience of SAP ERP are positive. Of course, you have excellent command of both Swedish and our corporate language English. As we work all over the world, any additional language skills are qualifying.

You are a professional and mature person with realistic goals. In addition, you are an adaptable and social team player with excellent communication skills. You are energetic with an incentive to deliver top-end results. You enjoy being part of an international environment, and have through previous experiences adapted a global mindset with an understanding of social and intercultural business codes.
